April 2017

APRIL 2017

It is difficult to imagine that there are just ten weeks of school remaining in this school year. The final quarter of the year is full of culminating activities such as district music contests, Knowledge Bowl and Mathletes final competitions, athletic events and, of course, graduation. With those activities also comes the responsibility to keep up with studies and continue to make academic growth. Please continue to encourage your students to attend school every day and on time. Excellent attendance is the first step to school success.

Let’s finish this school year strong!

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Spring conferences are scheduled for Friday, April 14, from 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. To assist parents with attending during their lunch breaks, the staff will take lunch from 1:00 – 1:30.

During conferences, teachers will be in their individual classrooms to meet with parents (and students). At parent request, conferences may be scheduled with groups of teachers. Please complete the enclosed conference request form for specific requests and return it to the office or you may call the office.

Conferences are intended to provide opportunities for parents and staff to discuss concerns, celebrations and plans for the final nine weeks of school.
