May 2017

MAY 2017

It is difficult to imagine that there are less than five weeks of school remaining in this school year. With more sunny and warm weather (maybe) and the date June 9 fast approaching, student focus is a daily challenge. In addition, there are several end-of-the-year activities to bring closure to the year including scholarship and awards ceremonies, concerts and, of course, academic final exams.

Please come the school calendar at hand so you have the opportunity to attend school events and meet required deadlines. Check the school web page at www.ccsd.k12.or.us for updates as well as the Gold Beach High School Panther Pride page on Facebook. You can also call the office for any questions you may have.

Let’s finish the school year strong!

REPORT CARDS

The fourth quarter progress reports are included with this newsletter. Final report cards will be mailed home on approximately June 16.

COURSE SELECTIONS FOR 2017-2018

Students will begin to select courses for next school year starting May 15. Please review the choices carefully with your student(s) and return the form to the office no later than May 26.

You will notice that graduation and diploma requirements will change next fall. Review these changes as you help plan the courses of study not only for next year but future years. Call the office if you would like to set an appointment to review your choices.
