was born in Anchorage, Alaska and lived there until we moved to
McMinnville, Oregon when my father retired in 1976. I graduated from
McMinnville High School and went on to Oregon State University where I
earned my B.S. in Mathematics Education. I taught at Grants Pass High
School for two years before moving to Montana to get my M.S. in
Mathematics from Montana State University. In 1990, my husband and I
returned to Oregon to be closer to family and I began teaching the
advanced mathematics courses at Gold Beach High School. I currently
teach Geometry, Algebra II, Math Analysis (pre-calculus), and
Calculus. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my children, fishing,
and raising labradoodles.
